My stay at The Fortress was unforgettable, a true sanctuary after exploring the Cultural Triangle. The hotel boasts an incredible beachfront location and a welcoming staff that made our experience even better. The variety of food was impressive and beautifully presented, although I did find the drinks to be quite pricey. Overall, this hotel offered great luxury and comfort, but be cautious about your bar bill and the occasionally loud construction work nearby.

I had a wonderful time at this resort, especially after an intense tour of Sri Lanka. The food was exceptional, particularly the fresh seafood, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable. However, a couple of issues with room cleanliness and some fellow guests' behavior around the pool hampered the experience slightly. Still, it's a fantastic place to unwind.
